Not too sure whether anyone actually reads my journal entries, but I thought I would write one since it's been... almost three years.
I recently had a conversation with a user on Fur Affinity, who asked me why I've stopped drawing. I've had quite a few people ask me this over the years and I've been meaning to write about it. The reason is mostly time and that I haven't had much of it. My days are as follows: wake-up, drive me and other to work, go to work, come home, sleep. What little time I do have I've been focusing on other hobbies of mine, which include alternate history, cartography, and vexillology (more on that in a second). But I have absolutely zero intentions of calling it quits on my little corner of the universe. So for now, just consider this a sabbatical.
That being said, I've also wished to update on what I have been up to and what ideas I currently have. I have created a second account (
NuclearVacuum) which will focus on my alternate history-related stuff I've been doing over the years.
I also wanted to showcase a wonderful commission that
magnusfaustus had done featuring some radioactive kangaroo being coiled up by the lovable Gillian. A big thanks to
brown over on FurAffinity for this piece.
As for what's in store for the future, I though I would give what's on my mind at the moment (no promises). Over the past year I've become a Brony and I do have a few ideas for some OC I have in mind, including a non-pony persona who would be very... voracious and Slavic. I also became very addicted to Minecraft a few months ago, though I don't have any ideas at the moment for this. I've also been getting attracted to "Five Nights At Freddy's," and I do have a funny idea for which involving an animatronic Eurodex (
PIZZA!).
The only remaining things is that I'm exited about the new album released by Information Society and that they covered Devo's song "Beautiful World," with Gerald Casale making a cameo. NERDGASM!
